lifeline replicates emergency escape lines designed to help evacuate underground mines in low visibility situations. The tactile language tool and analog technology uses shapes, directionality, and arrangement to signal turns, doors, and rescue areas along the exit route. The work is installed responsively to the architecture of each site it inhabits.
